One of the main reasons you should download the product than buy the physical copy is that it is much quicker than going out and purchasing the physical product and it will save travel costs and also save time as most things like music can be downloaded via iTunes very quickly. Another reason is that you generally do not have to leave your house which is a big bonus if the weather is not great.
One of the problems that you could possibly encounter when downloading products is there may be viruses attached to the product which may infect your computer; however this is not so evident in services like iTunes etc.
It generally fulfils its purpose very well especially if you download from the iTunes store or play store as these are legal unlike other services which people may use instead of the legal services to avoid costs but doing this may threaten their computer via viruses which could possibly slow the device down that they are using at that time and any other device they may transfer the product to.
